Training / Breeding / Handling of Top Flight Grouse Dogs.
Our 3 month winter training trip begins the first week of January. The first stop is south eastern Arizona. Dogs will be worked the month of January on Mearns quail in the canyons of southern Arizona. From there we head to Kansas for the month of February into early March. In Kansas dogs will be worked on wild and liberated quail. March will finish in Michigan on grouse and woodcock. This is wild bird dog training at it's finest; Mearns quail, Bobwhite quail, grouse and woodcock. Our winter program is in it's sixth season. Southern training has proven invaluable to field trial dogs as well as foot hunted gun dogs.
