I have been training upland bird dogs for 28 years. Bird dogs have always been a passion of mine. It is my goal to breed and develop top notch gun dogs and field trial competitors. I have been breeding dogs for 16 years and have competed with them in coverdog field trials with great success. 

I started Hifive Kennels in 1996 and turned full time professional in the spring 2002. I left my journeyman mold making position of 12 years to work dogs full time. 

I train both trial and gun dogs for the public. These dogs are worked hard on wild birds. I take pride in my work and have the time needed to turn your dog into the best wild bird dog that they can be.
